Good for you if you can! I really want to leave my union and move somewhere that I could have a garage and land. But then what they hell would I do for a job haha. I haven’t worked since the lockdown started so I have had time to really think about how much I hate the corporate assholes we work for on shows. it would be ok without the interaction with the clients, and I’m one of the people who has less interaction! I also think all the commuting and parking is costing so much it might be worth it to just get a job at Costco (?) and not pay all of that. I’m afraid to look at my total commuting costs. The commuting is stressful and wastes your life too. I don’t have a good alternative, if I went back to Hawaii I could probably work for my friends dad doing solar but it’s just as expensive to get a house there, have to inherit.

One of the best days of my life was when the firm I used to work for fired me because I gave them my 2 week notice. Packing up my desk was wonderful, and saying good bye to those who weren’t complete dicks  at work was great. My next year I made 25% more in income. Best of luck to you.
